    Bright, extremely appealing and harmoniously furnished apartment to the south-west of Bochum city centre. The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a small multi-family building. The living accommodation and staircase of this early 20th century building have all been renovated and are in excellent condition. The furniture was newly arranged and partially replaced in spring 2024, and offers lots of comfort. Shutters on all windows. The A48 motorway is only around two minutes’ drive away. Around 150 metres from the property is the Stensstraße bus stop, which is served by route 365, taking you to Bochum’s main rail station in around 18 minutes. If required, it is also possible to rent a parking space in the courtyard, at a cost of €35 per month. The rent already includes service charges and heating costs, plus internet access and the cost of cleaning the building’s staircase. Basic monthly cleaning of the apartment is also included in the rent. Electricity must be paid for separately. We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the landlord, but it has been requested. The bedroom features parquet flooring and electric shutters on the window, and is furnished with a bed (1.40m wide), three-door wardrobe, chests of drawers, a TV and a cosy armchair. Internet access provided. In the entrance hall you will find an additional large wardrobe, a shoe cabinet, mirror and clothes stand. The dining kitchen offers a bench seat and table, access to the balcony and a kitchen unit including hob, microwave, fridge, tableware, cooking utensils, kettle and coffee machine etc. The property also has a shower room, with light-coloured tiling, washbasin, wall-mounted WC and a large window. A washing machine and dryer are provided in the house’s cellar.

    Weitmar This extremely varied district of Bochum begins one kilometre south-west of the city centre. Right to the north can be found the Rombacher Hütte business park, to the south residential areas of good to excellent quality. The district is continuously broken up by small areas of greenery. Bochum’s Weitmar district is also home to the Springorum innovation park, which houses service providers and educational and research institutions. The areas of Neuling and Mark, which are situated around the Schlosspark, are also very spacious and predominantly feature detached houses. Finally, the village of Sundern, where you can live peacefully and comfortably in a romantic environment of greenery, is in a world of its own. Transport connections: The south-west section of the ring road (Oviedo-Ring) with its connections to the A40, A43 and A44 motorways, Trams 308 and 318, plus various bus routes.
