    Lagebeschreibung

    The city centre encompasses the core part of the city, found within the Wallring ring road, as well as some adjoining areas. The most important areas for shopping are the Westenhellweg and Hansastraße. In recent years, the historical centre around the old marketplace has gained additional flair thanks to the appealing brewery/restaurant businesses and cafes, and is a popular meeting place, especially in summer. The picture is rounded off by some historical churches that are worth seeing and also for example the market, which takes place on Saturdays. The B1 main road is around 1km away.
